Each construction site, regardless of its type, brings with it a number of specific convolutions. How these may best be resolved comes only through experience.
For construction company Scarbro Construction, multiple challenges do not stand in the way of the result, says general manager Garry Scarborough.
“This latest project, in the Auckland suburb of Parnell, presented a number of intricacies mostly to do with constraints of one kind or another. The first was access to the site, which was located at the end of a narrow dead-end street. Secondly, the site was bounded by light industrial buildings on one side and residential on the other – necessitating detailed logistics to mitigate any disruption to the neighbours.
